Thanks to the visionary leadership of His Excellency Louis Watum Kabamba, Minister of Industry and SME Development, and in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, a major step has been taken in support of Congolese entrepreneurship.
With the strategic backing of Prime Minister Judith Suminwa, the Industrial Promotion Fund (FPI) will now grant loans of up to $50,000 to Congolese entrepreneurs and artisans. This initiative aims to stimulate innovation, create jobs, and foster the emergence of a strong and inclusive national economy.
The official signing of the memorandum of understanding between the FPI and the FOGEC took place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, during a technical meeting gathering all structures under the Ministry’s supervision. The event, attended by Minister Louis Watum Kabamba, marked a major milestone in this new wave of support for local business development.
Now is the time for Congolese entrepreneurs to rise and thrive. Together, let’s build a resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking economy!
